The Bivalves of Mounako, in the Sanaga Maritime Division are huge source of income for youths in this area. But in the last decade the over exploitation of the resource has caused the population to dwindle. Experts now insist there is an urgent need for conservation action, to avoid extinction. This report was done by environmental Journalist, Regina Leke and was first aired on Canal 2 English Television.
