Ongoing Projects
As part of CWCS core business is the two- year cycle of re-measurement of 15 (0.1ha) biomass/carbon permanent sample plots (PSPs) located within the mangrove zones of Cameroon and extended over the central African mangrove landscape to Gabon, Congo Brazzaville and Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). This together with other ecosystem monitoring plans sets the base of the MRV (monitoring, Reporting & verification) mechanisms for most projects. Ongoing projects with partners are presented in the table below.
